School Times

Our school times at St John’s are due to be slightly amended in September 2023 due to the Ofsted requirement for children to be in school for 32.5 hours per week from this date.  Currently, we are slightly under this requirement and will need to extend our school day by a small amount.  Information regarding this change will be approved by the Governing Body and communicated before the start of the 2nd Spring term so that everyone is informed with plenty of notice.

The school day for all children starts at: 8:40am

Break time (Key Stage 1) 10:15-10:30am

Break Time (Key Stage 2) 10:15– 10:30am

Lunchtime (Reception) 11:45 – 12:40

Lunchtime (Key Stage 1) 12:00 – 13:00

Lunchtime (Key Stage 2) 12:00 – 13:00

School finishes at 15:25 (Monday to Thursday) and 14:10 on a Friday
